“We all like to catch big fish.  When you spend a day with Jason of Drop Jaw Flies, you certainly have that possibility.  The man knows Strawberry Reservoir like no other.  Who else has literally walked the entire reservoir?  This is no small feat.  He has spent thousands of hours on that body of water.

When we go with a guide, we hope to have some advantage that we would not have doing it by ourselves.  Jason invented the Drop Jaw Flies streamers.  He spends hours tying them. They are a very unique type of streamer.  You should have some in your fly box, whether you fish with Jason or not.  These streamers, coupled with Jason’s knowledge of the water and his expertise in presenting the fly to the fish, give you an advantage over anybody else on Strawberry Reservoir who is hunting big fish.

Before meeting Jason, I had a former fish and game biologist tell me that you seldom land slot busters in Strawberry anymore.  Well, I landed multiple slotbusters with Jason.

When we go fishing, we hope to create memories.  You will do this with Jason.  In fact, you will finish the day having made a new friend.  Anybody who loves to throw a fly owes it to himself/herself to spend a day on Strawberry Reservoir with Jason Arave.”
